Mirages of heat swirl

            The Jedi shimmers in my vision

            Scorching red smears my conscience

Unfathomable pain pounds

Fallen limbs taunt me

            His eyes shine with water

            Lava reflected in anguished pools

Flames lick at me

            Nothing but heat and pain

            Cold steel flows into my heart

Eyes grind shut as

            Darkness gives new sight

Hazy red anger surrounds me

            The source of my pain lingers

            A hoarse croak slips out

                        I hate you

Hatred protects as flesh burns

            Soul brutally reduced
